MAC Core Modules

MAC = Maintaining Anesthesia Certification— NBCRNA's recertification program. Replaces the legacy CPC. Renewal requires 60 MAC Ed (assessed) credits + up to 40 MAC Dev credits, plus participation in MAC Check — the longitudinal online assessment that replaces the old CPCA exam.

Transition window: CRNAs renewing June 30, 2026 — December 31, 2027 are enrolled in Modified MAC Check (5-quarter ramp). These four modules track to the NBCRNA core anesthesia domains and feed both the MAC Ed credit count and your MAC Check question pool.
