Terms of Service

By creating an account, accessing, or paying for gasguide.app (the "Service"), you agree to these Terms of Service and to our Privacy Policy. If you do not agree, do not use the Service.

All content on gasguide.app — including the question bank, study guides, calculators, algorithms, mnemonics, drug summaries, surgical case discussions, anatomy models, mock interviews, and AI-generated explanations — is for educational purposes only. It is not a substitute for clinical judgment, institutional protocols, current FDA package inserts, the AANA Standards for Nurse Anesthesia Practice, or guidance from licensed clinicians. You are solely responsible for clinical decisions you make and for verifying any drug dose, equipment setting, algorithm, or procedure with primary sources before applying it in patient care. We expressly disclaim liability for any harm arising from reliance on this content in clinical settings.

gasguide.app is study material aligned with the NBCRNA NCE / SEE blueprint. We do not guarantee passage of any board examination, admission to any CRNA program, or any specific score outcome. Examination results depend on factors outside our control.

• You must be 18+ to create an account or subscribe
• One account per person — accounts may not be shared, traded, or resold
• You are responsible for keeping your password secure and for all activity under your account
• Notify us immediately at security@gasguide.app if you suspect unauthorized access
• We may suspend or terminate accounts for credential sharing, scraping, content theft, or violation of these Terms

• Monthly subscriptions auto-renew each month until canceled
• Annual subscriptions auto-renew yearly until canceled
• You may cancel anytime through your account settings or by emailing billing@gasguide.app — access continues through the end of your current billing period
• Card data is processed by Stripe; we never store full card numbers
• Failed payments may result in immediate downgrade to free tier; you may reinstate by updating payment
• Price changes apply only to new billing periods and you will receive at least 30-day notice via email before any renewal at a new price
• Sales tax may be added based on your billing address

• Subscriptions are generally non-refundable once a billing period begins
• Pro-rated refunds may be granted for confirmed multi-day Service outages or genuine technical failures preventing access
• Single-purchase items (à-la-carte products from /store) are refundable within 7 days of purchase if unused
• Submit refund requests to billing@gasguide.app
• Chargebacks without first contacting us may result in account termination

You agree NOT to:

• Scrape, crawl, mass-download, or use bot-driven access against the Service
• Resell, redistribute, or publicly post our content (questions, explanations, study guides, mnemonics, illustrations) without written permission
• Reverse-engineer, decompile, or attempt to derive source code or model weights from the Service or our voice-AI mock-interview engine
• Upload Protected Health Information (PHI), patient-identifying data, or any information covered by HIPAA — this Service is not a HIPAA-covered entity and you must scrub identifiers from anything you upload (including credential documents)
• Upload content you do not have rights to share, including third-party copyrighted material
• Use the Service to harass, harm, defame, or impersonate any person, including faculty, peers, or competitors
• Test, probe, or attempt to bypass security controls; submit security findings responsibly to security@gasguide.app
• Use AI agents or automated tools to extract content, even from your own subscribed account

All content created by gasguide.app — text, scenarios, calculators, algorithms, drug summaries, study guides, mnemonics, q-bank explanations, lecture scripts, and software — is © gasguide.app, licensed to subscribed users for personal educational use only. You receive a non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable license; you do not acquire ownership.

Sourced imagery and 3D models are licensed per their individual terms — see the attribution page. Most are Creative Commons BY or BY-SA; obey the original author's license if you reuse them.

You retain ownership of content you upload (credential documents, profile photos, share requests, support correspondence, written responses to mock-interview prompts). By uploading, you grant gasguide.app a limited, non-exclusive license to store, process, display back to you, and (for documents you mark for sharing via share-link) deliver to recipients you authorize. We do not claim ownership and we will not use uploaded content to train AI models without your explicit opt-in.

Some explanations, suggested practice questions, and supplemental commentary may be generated or augmented by large language models. We hand-curate the 2,000-question NBCRNA Q-bank and the published study guides; these are not AI-generated batch fills. AI features may produce inaccurate output ("hallucinations") — verify any clinically actionable information against primary sources. The voice-AI mock interview produces an automated rubric score; this is a study aid, not a credentialed evaluation, and is not a predictor of admissions or board outcomes.

Features labeled "beta", "preview", or "experimental" (such as voice mock interviews, cloud document import, OCR, AI weakness mapping) may change, be removed, fail, or produce inaccurate results without notice. Use at your own risk. Stable features are those listed on the what's included page without a beta tag.

If you believe material on gasguide.app infringes your copyright, send a DMCA notice including: (1) identification of the copyrighted work, (2) URL of the alleged infringing material, (3) your contact information, (4) a statement of good-faith belief that use is unauthorized, (5) a statement under penalty of perjury that you are authorized to act on behalf of the copyright owner, (6) your physical or electronic signature. Send to dmca@gasguide.app. We respond to valid notices within 14 days.

You agree to indemnify and hold harmless gasguide.app and its operators, employees, and contractors from claims arising out of: (a) your violation of these Terms; (b) your infringement of any third-party right; (c) clinical decisions made in reliance on the Service; (d) content you upload or share.

THE SERVICE IS PROVIDED "AS IS" AND "AS AVAILABLE" WITHOUT WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND, EXPRESS OR IMPLIED, INCLUDING IMPLIED WARRANTIES OF MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, ACCURACY, AND NON-INFRINGEMENT. WE DO NOT WARRANT THAT THE SERVICE WILL BE UNINTERRUPTED, ERROR-FREE, OR SECURE.

TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, GASGUIDE.APP'S TOTAL LIABILITY ARISING FROM OR RELATED TO USE OF THE SERVICE IS LIMITED TO THE AMOUNT YOU HAVE PAID FOR THE SERVICE IN THE 12 MONTHS PRECEDING THE CLAIM. WE ARE NOT LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, SPECIAL, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES (INCLUDING LOST PROFITS, LOST DATA, OR LOSS OF GOODWILL), EVEN IF ADVISED OF THE POSSIBILITY. SOME JURISDICTIONS DO NOT ALLOW THESE LIMITATIONS, IN WHICH CASE THE ABOVE APPLIES TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED.

You may terminate by canceling your subscription and deleting your account from settings. We may suspend or terminate your account for breach of these Terms, prolonged inactivity, non-payment, or if continued operation of the Service is impractical. On termination, your right to access content ends; data deletion follows the schedule in our Privacy Policy.

These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Texas, without regard to conflict of laws principles. Any dispute arising under these Terms must first be raised in good faith with us via legal@gasguide.app; unresolved disputes shall be brought in the state or federal courts located in Travis County, Texas, and you consent to personal jurisdiction there. Class actions are waived to the extent permitted by law. EU and UK consumers retain mandatory rights under their local law.

We may update these Terms from time to time. Material changes (those that reduce your rights or expand our obligations on you) will be announced by email at least 30 days before they take effect. The "last updated" date at the top reflects the most recent revision. Continued use after the effective date constitutes acceptance.
